  • Managing day-to-day logistics and behind-the-scenes planning
  • Building strong relationships with parents and ensuring they feel informed and supported

From planning fun lessons to coordinating fundraisers, our board works hard to make sure every part of BST runs smoothly—and feels like a community.

Fitness Team

Our fitness team gets everyone moving! They lead engaging fitness activities such as yoga, dance, and workouts that make staying active fun. Each session is designed to be safe, inclusive, and full of encouragement—building confidence through movement.

Fundraising Team

Our fundraising team brings creative ideas to life to help keep our program free and accessible for all. From organizing events to running campaigns, they help secure the financial support we need to grow and run the program while spreading joy along the way.

Social Media Team

Mentors Team

Our mentors are the heart and soul of Be Strong Together. They’re more than just our volunteers… they’re leaders, role models, and big sisters to our mentees. Each mentor is matched with a small group of 1–3 kids, building real connections over the course of the program. They’ll spend 45 minutes a week with their girls during our designated class time.

Mentors lead with compassion by:

  • Creating safe spaces for their mentees to share, learn, and grow
  • Planning fun and meaningful activities to build confidence, self-esteem, and resilience
  • Sharing their own experiences to inspire and empower
  • Encouraging curiosity, kindness, and self-love
  • Showing up each week with energy, warmth, and care
  • Celebrating every small win, and offering support through challenges

Their one-on-one impact is what makes our program so special—reminding every girl that she is seen, heard, and never alone.

Applications for mentors for the 2025-26 year will open in August 2025.
