Description:
Be Strong Together is excited to launch our Spring Clothing & Book Drive in partnership with FUNDrive®! From April to May, we’re collecting gently used clothes and books to help raise funds for our youth programs.
- Collect and bag your gently used clothes and books
- Email us to schedule a pickup with a member of our team
- Support our cause—proceeds go directly toward programming for our mentees
Your donations help us continue offering free, empowering lessons and mentorship to young girls in our community. This is also an eco-friendly way to give your pre-loved items a second life while making a difference.

Be Strong Together’s 4th Anniversary!
Four years ago, Be Strong Together began as a simple idea during a difficult time—an online space where girls could feel supported, uplifted, and connected. Today, that idea has grown into a full-year mentorship program with hundreds of families, a passionate volunteer team, and national recognition as a registered not-for-profit.
As we celebrate our 4th anniversary, we’re reflecting on the many milestones that brought us here: our very first summer session, our transition to a year-round curriculum, the friendships built between mentors and mentees, and the continued support of families who believe in what we do.
We’re deeply grateful to every mentor, family, partner, and supporter who has helped shape this journey. Thank you for being part of this story. Here’s to the next chapter—together.

Canada Post Community Foundation Grant Recipient
We’re thrilled to share that Be Strong Together has been awarded a grant from the Canada Post Community Foundation.
This funding will go directly toward enhancing our programming—providing new supplies, developing mentor training resources, and making sure our sessions stay accessible and impactful for every family who joins. It’s a huge step forward for our team and a moment of encouragement that reminds us our work matters.

Canadian Not-For-Profit Status Granted!
We’re proud to share that as of June 28, 2022, Be Strong Together has officially received federal not-for-profit status in Canada.
This milestone marks an exciting new chapter for our team, allowing us to grow our reach and apply for additional support to keep our program free for families. We’re incredibly grateful to our volunteers, families, and supporters who have believed in our mission since the very beginning.
Thank you for helping us turn a small idea born during the pandemic into a nationally recognized organization. We look forward to continuing this work—together.
